IC Workshop at TRB 2010

The FHWA/TPF Intelligent Compaction (IC) research team cordially invites you to attend a workshop that showcases IC technologies.

Intelligent compaction is an emerging and evolving technology for quality control operations and its use is increasing worldwide. A FHWA and Transportation Pooled Fund (TPF) study is currently being conducted to accelerate implementation of this technology in the US.

This workshop will familiarize attendees with:

  • Fundamentals of IC technologies
  • Specific issues regarding soils and asphalt IC
  • Practical aspects of implementation
  • Benefits of IC technology
